Interesting perspective almost like sitting on the couch looking across the room. I think this image good benefit from a little more information... maybe getting the tv in the frame or somehow incorporating some visual clue as to what they are doing... maybe holding the remote to change the channel or something. Also, good choice staying with a color image (a lot of people seemed to go black and white this time).
I like the angle of the shot but it lacks direct interaction. While watching TV together does do it for friendship, I would have liked to see the TV in the frame and then the two guys talking. overall cool angle though and good job staying with color =)
I love the plaid, the white framing on the wall, the guitar, and the chandelier. It's a nice setting. But I feel like the picture would portray friendship more powerfully if the guys were interacting with each other instead of the TV.
they way you shot this leads the viewer feeling they are right there on the couch with alex and andrew. it makes the photo very welcoming; an insider view, not an outsider's. i would like to see more of a relationship evident in the guys, though. love the colors!
i like the shot. i wish the two were interacting in some way. but at the same time, i appreciate the kind of friendship that doesn't require talking...where you can be completely comfortable just being with another person. so i guess i like it no matter what.
I like the image but I think it could have been stronger if they were interacting in some way. watching tv is something you do with friends. This image works.

ReplyDeleteI like this shot because it captures a really common, yet classic moment of friendship. Watching TV. Classic.
